Environmental and Social Impact Assessment availability for the “EHC – Ammonia Plant” Project

SACE has received an application for insurance coverage of a project concerning the construction of an ammonia production unit to be built in an existing chemical plant, which produces ammonium nitrate, located near Ain El Sokhna, Egypt.

SACE is carrying on the environmental review of this project on the basis of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) provided by the applicant; SACE makes it available without any comment or implied endorsement.
