Environmental and Social Impact Assessment availability for the ‘Mexicali Oriente’ Project

SACE is considering support for the ‘Mexicali Oriente’ Project involving the development of an internal combustion engines power plant to be located in the Municipality of Mexicali, State of Baja California, Mexico. The power plant is expected to have an electrical power output capacity of almost 429 MW and will operate with natural gas as the primary fuel, with diesel as back-up.

SACE is carrying on the environmental review of this project on the basis of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) provided by the Project Sponsor, and additional relevant environmental and social documentation, available under request to be addressed to:
