Environmental and Social Impact Assessment availability for the Nord Stream 2 Project

SACE is considering support to the Nord Stream 2 Project for construction and subsequent operation of a 1,200 km twin subsea natural gas pipelines through the Baltic Sea, from the Russian coast in the Leningrad region, reaching landfall near Greifswald in Germany. In addition to these two countries, the pipeline will pass through the jurisdictions of Finland, Sweden and Denmark.

SACE is carrying on the environmental review of this project on the basis of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Reports prepared by the Project Company and currently available at the following links:
