The European Investment Bank (EIB), SACE and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced today that they have finalized a € 600 million loan earmarked to support the automotive group's research, development and production plans for 2015-17. The three-year loan provided by EIB and 50% guaranteed by SACE relates to FCA’s production and R&D sites in both northern and southern Italy.

Sberbank of Russia and SACE signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. On behalf of Sberbank the MOU was signed by Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, and on behalf of SACE by Alessandro Castellano, Chief Executive Officer. The main objective is the development of long-term cooperation between Sberbank of Russia and SACE in the field of export credit to support foreign trade operations between the Russian Federation and Italy.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a EUR 10 million agreement with SAES Getters S.p.A., an Italian company active in special metallurgy and materials science. Made available by the EIB and 50% guaranteed by the country’s export credit company SACE, the loan to SAES will finance its research, development and innovation (RDI) activities in order to further develop and apply its expertise and competencies in metal science know-how.
